Is Jesus really proposing us that having fisted some money, we should choose between Him - healthy, big, strong and this poor man - dirty, sick, half dressed, and give Him this money? Of course not, another thing comes out from what Jesus says: when we have to choose to do good either to Jesus, or to an abstract poor, the choice has to be for the benefit of Jesus. But when we have to make the choice with a concrete poor, who stretches out his hand to us, then there is no choice to be made here, because Jesus said Himself: " Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.".
