Main news for 22 April 2020

Our faith in God's kindness contains absolutely the representation of His faithfulness, first of all, faithfulness in His promises. We cannot know the deadlines of the fulfillment of these promises, for us generally inconceivable are the ways of their fulfillment, but their immutability lays on the fundament of our trust in God.

There are two promises of God in this prediction of Isaiah, which we read today. In the first place, God speaks about new heavens and a new earth - about a new Creation, what means that His action in this world is not finished yet. This world, in which we live now and which we know is not yet all, it is not yet the limit reality, it will "pass", that is why we don’t have too seriously to allow ourselves be guided by the institutions of this world (unlike institutions coming from the eternal God).

Secondly, although the world will become different, there is something of this world that will not disappear, but will pass into the new Creation, and this "something" is the humanity "your seed and your name". This humanity saved together with the new heavens and the new earth will always remain before God. Do we believe in this? Do we want to take part in this?
