Job, Chapter 19, verses 1, 23-27

¹ Job, complaining of his friends' cruelty, showeth that there is misery enough in him to feed their cruelty, ²¹ He craveth pity, ²³ He believeth the resurrection

¹Then Job answered and said,

²³Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!

²⁴That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

²⁵For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

²⁶And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

²⁷Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

Romans, Chapter 5, verses 5-11

² and joy in our hope, that sith we were reconciled by his blood when we were enemies, we shall much more be saved being reconciled

⁵And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

⁶For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

⁷For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

⁸But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

⁹Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

¹⁰For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

¹¹And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

John, Chapter 6, verses 37-40

³² declareth himself to be the Bread of life to believers

³⁷All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

³⁸For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

³⁹And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

⁴⁰And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
