King James Version (en)

Genesis, Chapter 32,  verse 26

24 He wrestleth with an angel at Peniel, where he is called Israel
26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

NOTES

The successful resolution of the story with Laban did not mean that all the trials were behind him. In addition to meeting Laban, Jacob still had to meet his own brother, Esau, and it was not clear which of the two meetings was more dangerous for him...

It is common to hear people say, "I do not ask God for anything for myself; sometimes I ask for relatives, but I feel awkward asking for myself"...
