Proverbs, Chapter 13, verse 23

¹ A wise son heareth his father's instruction; but a scorner heareth not rebuke

²³Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.

13:23 The poor - Poor persons by their diligent labours, and God's blessing often grow rich. Destroyed - Or, consumed, brought to poverty, for want of discretion.
