Послание к Евреям, Глава 10, стихи 32-39
32 Вспомните прежние дни: вы были тогда озарены светом и в тяжелой борьбе вытерпели все страдания. 33 Порой вас самих оскорбляли и притесняли у всех на виду, а порой вы проявляли участие к тем, кто подвергался тому же. 34 Вы сострадали заключенным и, когда грабили ваше имущество, воспринимали это с радостью, зная, что гораздо более ценного достояния у вас не отнять. 35 Так не оставляйте же своего мужества – велика будет за него награда! 36 Вам требуется терпение, чтобы исполнить волю Божью и получить обещанное. 37 «Осталось немного, совсем чуть-чуть, и придет, кому должно, не замедлит. 38 И кто праведен у Меня – будет жить верой, а кто отступит – нет к тому Моего благоволения»*. 39 Но отступничество и погибель – не для нас. Нам дана вера, чтобы сберечь душу! |
Евангелие от Марка, Глава 4, стихи 26-34
26 Еще сказал:
– Божье Царство – с ним так: бросил человек семя в почву, 27 спит он ночью, встает поутру, а семя пускает росток, тянется вверх, но он того не видит. 28 Земля плодоносит сама по себе: сперва зеленый побег, потом колос, потом он наливается зерном. 29 И когда созрел урожай, человек берется за серп, потому что настала пора жатвы. |
30 Еще сказал:
– С чем сравнить нам Божье Царство, где найти для него подобие? 31 Зернышко горчицы: когда сеют его в почву, оно меньше всех семян на земле. 32 А когда прорастет, поднимется и станет больше всех растений в саду, раскинет могучие ветви, так что в тени его птицы небесные смогут найти приют*. |

4:26 So is the kingdom of God - The inward kingdom is like seed which a man casts into the ground - This a preacher of the Gospel casts into the heart. And he sleeps and rises night and day - That is, he has it continually in his thoughts. Meantime it springs and grows up he knows not how - Even he that sowed it cannot explain how it grows. For as the earth by a curious kind of mechanism, which the greatest philosophers cannot comprehend, does as it were spontaneously bring forth first the blade, then the ear, then the full corn in the ear: so the soul, in an inexplicable manner, brings forth, first weak graces, then stronger, then full holiness: and all this of itself, as a machine, whose spring of motion is within itself. Yet observe the amazing exactness of the comparison. The earth brings forth no corn (as the soul no holiness) without both the care and toil of man, and the benign influence of heaven.
4:29 He putteth in the sickle - God cutteth down and gathereth the corn into his garner.
4:33 He spake the word as they were able to hear it - Adapting it to the capacity of his hearers; and speaking as plain as he could without offending them. A rule never to be forgotten by those who instruct others.

10:32 Enlightened - With the knowledge of God and of his truth.
10:34 For ye sympathized with all your suffering brethren, and with me in particular; and received joyfully the loss of your own goods.
10:35 Cast not away therefore this your confidence - Your faith and hope; which none can deprive you of but yourselves.
10:36 The promise - Perfect love; eternal life.
10:37 He that cometh - To reward every man according to his works.
10:38 Now the just - The justified person.Shall live - In God's favour, a spiritual and holy life.By faith - As long as he retains that gift of God.But if he draw back - If he make shipwreck of his faith My soul hath no pleasure in him - That is, I abhor him; I cast him off. Авв 2:3, etc
10:39 We are not of them who draw back to perdition - Like him mentioned Евр 10:38.But of them that believe - To the end, so as to attain eternal life.
