NOTES for Isa 35:1-10
“Those who walk this way, even if inexperienced, will not go astray.” These words in today’s reading are a special joy and blessing... For this is precisely what is so frightening: we have little experience, know little, understand little, and often find ourselves confused and not knowing where to go... But He promises a path on which it is impossible to go astray. There can be only one such path—He Himself, the Way, the Truth and the Life. Only complete trust in Him can bring us onto this path. Then, if we trust Him entirely and place our will in His hands, He will be our way and we will no longer need to be experienced or wise... Complete trust, the complete surrender of oneself to the will of God.
