NOTES for Isa 2:3

The way of the Lord, of which speaks the prophet Isaiah, strikingly distinguishes itself from human ways. The Lord Himself proclaims that through Isaiah, by saying: "my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD." (Isaiah55:8). This qualitative difference expresses itself first of all in the fact that human ways don’t lead to life; only the Lord, Who Himself is Life, can bring us to Him. And here is, we read at the beginning of the Book of Isaiah that God doesn’t abandon people, but will come the day, when He will teach to all people His ways. Thus, it is accessible, no matter how hard we can try to prove the opposite! And thus, God's will is for us to find the way of life. And important again is that this prediction came true in the coming of the Lord Jesus-Christ.
