NOTES for Jer 29:11-13

Imagine that a certain person not too familiar to you says that he has some good thoughts about you, but don’t ask which, because only he alone can know them. In order to take these words seriously, you will need an immense effort of trust. Trust, to believe before information, before proofs... Very difficult, isn’t it? And now imagine that these words are said by someone close and native. It's another matter! You have reasons to trust, because this person has already done so much good for you. But in any case it remains trust. It is like that with God also: the more we see His actions in our life, the more it is easier for us to trust him, but in any case this effort remains to us - abandon what only we know that it is good for us, and to accept His thoughts.

But not only the thoughts! God says that we can meet with Him, and not only with His actions, but one should want that by all his heart. That is in a way that in no corner of the heart, there is nothing squeaking: "Oh, I’m afraid, oh, I don’t want! "Yes, but is it possible? Look, which sequence God proposes: call - pray - I will hearken (that is I shall answer) - so you shall see - and find. Without a preliminary development of the relationships with Him, certainly, nothing will work out, but we can begin this way right now.
