NOTES for Dan 11:1-45
The events of history that affect our life confront us as insurmountable facts to which we submit, finding a way to survive amid the collapse of empires and states, shifting borders, and the whirlwind of unending wars. The struggle for power, glory, and money affects the life of everyone, even the most modest and humble person, because it determines the movement of many hearts. And nevertheless, as we read this passage from the Book of Daniel, centuries pass before our eyes and rulers succeed one another, while the Lord remains eternal, calling everyone to Himself and ready to receive anyone willing to acknowledge His authority, His mercy, and His love.
