NOTES for Co1 3:18-23

The superman’s dream: “all things are yours”! Everything belongs to me: the world, life and death, the present and the future... How many lives have been shattered against this dream... And it has always proved impossible to make it a reality. Life and death, the present and the future are not in our power, however much we might wish them to be. So, is Paul lying? No. There is simply one small condition. Everything is ours if we belong to Christ. Then, through Him, with Him, and in Him, all things are possible. Everything is ours if we are wholly within the will of God.
