NOTES for Ti1 4:11-16
In the apostle Paul’s letter, the Christian life appears completely different from the way we are accustomed to seeing it. Our chief task becomes the constant youthfulness of the spirit. We cannot allow ourselves to become tired, relax, or decide that we already know everything. What matters most is to keep searching and following the truth at all times. We cannot allow ourselves not to burn, to be lukewarm. We must always remain aware that we are young and inexperienced, still only at the beginning of the journey. To travel it to the end, we must stay watchful and keep learning.
