NOTES for NumĀ 9:1-23

One of the most sinful human qualities is ingratitude, and in His struggle against this sin in human beings, God establishes a special feast on which the people of Israel can gratefully remember the miracle of their deliverance by God from Egyptian slavery: the Passover. Let us note that Passover is also open to sojourners! When God’s instructions are carried out, a cloud appears over the Tabernacle as a sign of God’s mysterious presence. God is not only present—He leads His people and shows the right way. He possesses all who live; He is the Master of this world.
