NOTES for Act 11:1-30

Did the Cypriots and Cyrenians who came to Antioch know of Cornelius' conversion and Peter's vision? They probably did, but even if they did not, this only confirms that it was God's will for the hour to come when preaching should be addressed not only to Hellenistic Jews but also to Greeks. This is stated briefly: the hand of the Lord was with them. Yet that is enough to understand that preaching to the Gentiles was blessed by Him.
