NOTES for Mat 18:1-5
It seems that, for God’s promises to begin to be fulfilled in our lives, we need to reconsider our attitude... toward ourselves. Who are we? Wise, strong, grown-up, righteous people who know good and evil? Then what need do we have of God? And God does not force His fellowship or His presence in our lives upon us. But if we wish to stand before Him as children before their Father, as lost sheep before their Shepherd, then He will truly go before us and will not abandon us.
