Is it always good for brothers to dwell together? Cain was a brother too, and it was none other than his own brothers who sold Joseph into slavery.
All this is true, and one could multiply such examples. Fortunately, however, this is not the whole truth: in every age one can find many examples of genuine brotherhood, and it does not depend on blood kinship. Such brotherhood is rightly compared to the gifts of those places where the Lord has commanded blessing and life forever; the possibility of full and genuine relationships between people is one of His gifts.
At the very creation of man, the Lord said, “It is not good for man to be alone.” The powers of darkness know this too, which is why they seek to destroy us by separating us and plunging each person alone into his inner darkness, into slavery to his own self. But “let us join hands, friends, so that we do not perish one by one!” On the path toward the light, it is very important to move beyond isolation and obsessive concern with our own problems alone, and to become able to see those who will become our brothers and sisters.
132 Probably this psalm was wrote by Solomon to be sung at the dedication of the temple, of which he desires God would come and take possession, Psa 132:8-10. 132:6 It - Of the ark. Ephratah - In the tribe of Ephraim, which was called also Ephratah. Found it - Afterwards we found it in Kirjath - jearim, which signifies a city of woods, in the territory whereof the ark was seated for twenty years.
132:7 Tabernacles - Into his temple. Footstool - The ark, is often said to sit between the cherubim, which were above the ark.
132:8 Rest - Into thy resting place, the temple so called, Isa 66:1, where thou hast now a fixed habitation.The ark - The seat of thy powerful and glorious presence.
132:10 David's sake - In regard of thy promises vouchsafed to David.Turn not - Cast me not out of thy presence. Of - Of me whom thou hast anointed to be king over thy people.

132:17 There - In Jerusalem. To bud - His power and glory to flourish. A lamp - A successor to continue for ever in his family, as this phrase is expounded Ki1 11:36 Psa 89, Ki1 15:4, and particularly one eminent and glorious light, namely, the Messiah.
