²¹καὶ ἐρει̃ς αὐτοι̃ς τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ λαμβάνω πάντα οἰ̃κον Ισραηλ ἐκ μέσου τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν οὑ̃ εἰσήλθοσαν ἐκει̃ καὶ συνάξω αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν περικύκλω̨ αὐτω̃ν καὶ εἰσάξω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γη̃ν του̃ Ισραηλ

²²καὶ δώσω αὐτοὺς εἰς ἔθνος ἓν ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ μου καὶ ἐν τοι̃ς ὄρεσιν Ισραηλ καὶ ἄρχων εἱ̃ς ἔσται αὐτω̃ν καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται ἔτι εἰς δύο ἔθνη οὐδὲ μὴ διαιρεθω̃σιν οὐκέτι εἰς δύο βασιλείας

²³ἵνα μὴ μιαίνωνται ἔτι ἐν τοι̃ς εἰδώλοις αὐτω̃ν καὶ ῥύσομαι αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ πασω̃ν τω̃ν ἀνομιω̃ν αὐτω̃ν ὡ̃ν ἡμάρτοσαν ἐν αὐται̃ς καὶ καθαριω̃ αὐτούς καὶ ἔσονταί μοι εἰς λαόν καὶ ἐγὼ κύριος ἔσομαι αὐτοι̃ς εἰς θεόν

²⁴καὶ ὁ δου̃λός μου Δαυιδ ἄρχων ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτω̃ν καὶ ποιμὴν εἱ̃ς ἔσται πάντων ὅτι ἐν τοι̃ς προστάγμασίν μου πορεύσονται καὶ τὰ κρίματά μου φυλάξονται καὶ ποιήσουσιν αὐτά

²⁵καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς αὐτω̃ν ἣν ἐγὼ δέδωκα τω̨̃ δούλω̨ μου Ιακωβ οὑ̃ κατώ̨κησαν ἐκει̃ οἱ πατέρες αὐτω̃ν καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπ' αὐτη̃ς αὐτοί καὶ Δαυιδ ὁ δου̃λός μου ἄρχων αὐτω̃ν ἔσται εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να

²⁶καὶ διαθήσομαι αὐτοι̃ς διαθήκην εἰρήνης διαθήκη αἰωνία ἔσται μετ' αὐτω̃ν καὶ θήσω τὰ ἅγιά μου ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτω̃ν εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να

²⁷καὶ ἔσται ἡ κατασκήνωσίς μου ἐν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ ἔσομαι αὐτοι̃ς θεός καὶ αὐτοί μου ἔσονται λαός

²⁸καὶ γνώσονται τὰ ἔθνη ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ ἁγιάζων αὐτοὺς ἐν τω̨̃ εἰ̃ναι τὰ ἅγιά μου ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτω̃ν εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να

37 The vision of the resurrection of the dry bones, Иез 37:1-10.
The explication of it, Иез 37:11-14.
A type of the happy coalition which would be between Israel and Judah, Иез 37:15-22.
A prediction of the kingdom of Christ, and of the glories and graces of that kingdom, Иез 37:23-28.

37:22 One nation - They were one in David's time, who was a type of the Messiah, and continued so to the end of Solomon's time, whose name includes peace. So when the Beloved, the Peace - maker, the Messiah shall be king, they shall be one again. And one king - The Messiah.

37:23 I will save - I will bring them safe out of them.And will cleanse - Both justify and sanctify them.

37:24 David - The son of David. One shepherd - This king shall be their one chief shepherd, others that feed and rule the flock, are so by commission from him.

37:25 For ever - 'Till Christ's coming to judgment, the Jews converted to Christ, shall inherit Canaan.

37:26 My sanctuary - I will set up a spiritual glorious temple, and worship among you. For evermore - Never to be altered or abolished on earth, but to be consummated in heaven.

37:27 My tabernacle - The tabernacle wherein I will shew my presence among them. Their fathers had a tabernacle, but the Messiah shall bring with him a better, a spiritual, and an heavenly.They shall be my people - By my grace I will make them holy, as the people of a holy God; and I will make them happy, as the people of the ever blessed God.

11:45 Many believed on Him - And so the Son of God was glorified, according to what our Lord had said, Ин 11:4.

11:46 But some of them went to the Pharisees - What a dreadful confirmation of that weighty truth, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rose from the dead!

11:47 What do we? - What? Believe. Yea, but death yields to the power of Christ sooner than infidelity.

And this will give such umbrage to the Romans that they will come and subvert both our place - Temple; and nation - Both our Church and state. Were they really afraid of this? 11:49 That year - That memorable year, in which Christ was to die.It was the last and chief of Daniel's seventy weeks, the fortieth year before the destruction of Jerusalem, and was celebrated for various causes, in the Jewish history. Therefore that year is so peculiarly mentioned: Caiaphas was the high priest both before and after it. Ye know nothing - He reproves their slow deliberations in so clear a case.

11:50 It is expedient that one man should die for the people - So God overruled his tongue, for he spake not of himself, by his own spirit only, but by the spirit of prophecy. And thus he gave unawares as clear a testimony to the priestly, as Pilate did to the kingly office of Christ.

11:52 But that, he might gather into one - Church, all the children of God that were scattered abroad - Through all ages and nations.

11:55 Many went up to purify themselves - That they might remove all hinderances to their eating the passover.
