Ending the creation of the world, God looks at His creation and admires it. Certainly, we could understand this image even completely literal. Indeed, the world not yet damaged by the fall, was to be beautiful, it was really a perfect creation. And if every master looks cheerfully at the beautiful object made by him, who really succeed to him, is it surprising that God admires the world created by Him and is delighted at His creation? But there is another thing, on which indicates the sense of the Jewish word, which in the translation of the "King James version" transmitted by the word "good". In the original Jew there is here the notion of completeness, completion and meaningfulness.

The world is good when everything in it has a sense and a purpose. The tapped historical and natural cycle and which nobody needs from the point of view of the authors of the biblical books arrives to be considered as curse rather than blessing. The world should not be so useless and absurd; God did not conceive it and did not create it such. Certainly, no will, even the one resisting God does not want that the existence of the world to be useless and absurd.

It is just that those, for whom man is simply food, have no intentions to open to their victims the purpose and the sense of the existence of the world, how they see this purpose and this sense. But God finds necessary to hide nothing to man. He says to us directly that He did not create the world just like that. And He invites us to participate in the realization of His plans and His projects. Freely, consciously and responsibly.
