16 promiseth the holy Ghost the comforter
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Speaking to His disciples about His path and ministry, Jesus mentions a “Comforter” whom the Father will send them and whom, Jesus Himself says, the world can neither see nor know. This “Comforter,” whom Jesus also calls the “Holy Spirit” and the “Spirit of truth,” will in due course remind the apostles of everything that... 

 

Someone somewhere said: "Love is an instrument of knowledge." And in fact, what can we know about someone... 

 

Another Comforter will remain with the disciples. It is not said that He will remain with everyone, most likely because those who reject the Son also reject the Spirit of Truth...
