12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

The words "possible " and " impossible" are removed from the dictionary by the apostle and are replaced by the word "free". Freedom is not permissiveness, but rather a permanent work of our spirit. What Paul says, means that by accepting the Christ, we are deprived to live automatically. Every our action must be coordinated with the "expedient" standard. All things are lawful, it is only necessary to realize all the time if as temple of the Holy Spirit, such is expedient to me. There is nothing we could exclude from the sphere of action of our choice.

Of what am I dependent? What possesses me, shielding the main part, veiling the clarity of the consciousness? For someone it is smoking, for another one the health, for the third one the communication, are there few things which can become object of worship and dependence, destroying the freedom acting in our life. And this life is made such a way that every action should become the result of a free and deliberate choice, of which we are ready to take our responsibility before God.
