Having trusted God, we receive His Kingdom, that is, His rule in our life, which settles within us as the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The main thought of the apostle Paul today is that the presence of God's Spirit does not enslave us, but fills us with filial love for God, who becomes for us not simply Father, but "Abba," the way Jewish children addressed their fathers tenderly and affectionately.
