16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This verse is surely the most known in the entire Bible. It is not excluded that it is the best of all the summaries expressing the sense of the Gospel - the Good and Happy News.
Thus, everything begins with God: He is carrier of love. We can genuinely understand what love is, only by looking at Him. He so loved the world, that He gave what was dearest to Him, His Son. And He, Son of God by love to the Father got over the Son of Man's way till the end, a way of sufferings and death; having overcome any natural death through His death and having opened by His resurrection the door leading into eternal life. Entrance into this eternal life is faith in all this.
We live, absorbed by our worries, broken by our misfortunes, suffering from our infirmities, waiting our death. Has the Happy News reached us? Have we realized that in comparison with what God has already done for us, from us is expected just a little? Or we still sigh grievously and dejectedly: "who can be saved?"
