14 Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.

What means "seek good, and not evil? Such as evident: try to do good works, and not the evil. But don’t we behave like that? Is there anything we do not of good motivations? "We", and not "they" - we don’t appraise others now, but we ourselves! And all the same the works turn out too often evil, probably, because by these acts we react to the evil that surrounds us, we try to punish or to eradicate it.
Let’s really try to see for good, and not evil. Not closing eyes on the existence of evil in the world, in people, in ourselves, and after all at the first place try to see good, if only its grains. Then we shall not maybe want to answer immediately to evil by evil, but would like to try to change, to improve the relationship, to multiply good. Well then truly will be with us the God, about Whom it is said He is love.
