NOTES for Num 36:1-13
Every tribe of Israel is precious to God. Therefore, so that one tribe does not absorb another, each land allotment must remain within its designated tribe rather than pass to others. Perhaps this relationship shows us how God relates to every person and how He loves each of us. This love will become visible when clan consciousness gives way to personal consciousness, which will gradually lead people to the possibility of calling God Father.
